“The show reflected a reverence for the industry’s history, as well as an embrace of its future,” commented Juergen Wiese, EBAA Chairman.
EBACE was kicked-off with a pre-show Media Luncheon on the industry’s latest initiative on the development and adoption of sustainable alternative jet fuel. The opening day featured a presentation by Yves ‘Jetman’Rossy. Another highlight of the event was the presentation of the Expanding Horizons program focused on the value of business aviation in Europe. The Careers in Business Aviation Day also proved successful in its second year with over 250 students in attendance.
This year’s event, dedicated to Serge Dassault, included a special recognition for the business aviation leader who passed away earlier this year. This edition was comprised of 418 exhibitors, 54 aircraft at the Geneva Airport and attendees from over 100 countries.
Ed Bolen, NBAA President and CEO commented, “EBACE once again showed that business aviation is an industry focused on innovation and investment in the future. The new aircraft models, the new business models, the featured speakers and the trends we discussed all point to an energetic industry looking toward tomorrow.”
