Built by Logos Marine in Turkey´s Tuzla, superyacht Quaranta is a highly innovative power catamaran, launched earlier this year. Quaranta features naval architecture by Incant Crowther. Incant Crowther is an Australian based company with a diverse product portfolio of designs for monohull, catamaran and trimaran vessels with a composite, aluminium and steel construction for a range of sectors, including commercial, recreational, military and passenger. The exterior styling by Mauro Giamboi, a highly talented designer based in Italy and Turkey. Giamboi is responsible for the exterior design of the Curvelle quaranta, cinquanta and sessanta. Mauro has an impressive background and skillset that ranges from digital sculpting of superyachts to composing movie sound tracks in his spare time.
On the other hand, the G108 beautiful interiors have been designed by Lila-Lou of London and can sleep up to 12 charter guests in maximum comfort and style. Lila-Lou of London is a Yacht, Architecture and Interior Design practice based in London with satellite offices near Geneva, Switzerland and Sicily, Italy.
Particular emphasis is given to creating customised designs and sourcing the finest products, works of art and objects across the globe, ultimately combining the essential qualities of excellence, beauty and practicality – through the client’s eyes. As the vessel’s name suggests, Quaranta yacht offers comparable interior space to a 40 metre monohull yacht, but with lower power requirement, reducing capital and operating costs.
Incat Crowther contributed naval architectural services including hull form development, arrangement and propulsion engineering. Luxury yacht Quaranta offers functionality and flexibility, with 6 large cabin spaces located on the main deck. Each of these spaces can be configured as twin or double staterooms, or combined with the adjacent spaces to create 3 large suites.
Crew accommodation and service spaces are provided in the hull and a large lounge and dining space occupies the upper deck aft of the wheelhouse. Quaranta yacht is powered by a pair of Caterpillar C32 Acert main engines, each producing 1417kW at 2300rpm. The shaft line consists of ZF3050 gearboxes and a pair of fixed-pitch propellers. Incat Crowther has used its extensive experience to engineer a vessel that is optimised for efficient cruising and optimum range.
