Black Pearl by Oceanco

This incredible-looking yacht is unlike any other. The Black Pearl is the result of an outstanding collaboration of international designers, engineers, naval architects and builders.

The Black Pearl has a steel hull with an aluminum superstructure. The exterior of the sailing yacht is the work of Ken Freivokh Design and Nuvolari Lenard while Villate Design collaborated with them on the interior design. With a beam overall of 15 meters and a volume of 2,700 GT she can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins. The Black Pearl features a hybrid propulsion system created in collaboration with Oceanco and BMT Nigel Gee. The yacht also features a single level engine room and waste heat recovery system. Oceanco and Dykstra Naval Architects are responsible for the yacht’s naval architecture. At a length of 106.7 meters (350ft) she is the largest DynaRig sailing yacht around. Dykstra Naval Architects designed the three 70-meter carbon masts and sailing system. The 2,900 square meters of sails can be set in only 7 minutes. The Black Pearl has a top speed of 17.5 knots and can reach 30 knots under sail.
